At the Center for Growth and Empowerment, our mission is to provide affirming, inclusive, and compassionate recovery services that support the healing and empowerment of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Honoring lived experience, embracing authenticity, and building community, we are committed to creating a safe space where every person is seen, supported, and celebrated.
Who we are
We are a community-rooted nonprofit organization dedicated to providing affirming, rainbow-centered recovery services for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Our mission is to walk alongside individuals on their recovery journeys—supporting healing, connection, and empowerment every step of the way.
At the heart of our work is a commitment to safety, dignity, and belonging. We offer outpatient treatment, substance use assessments, navigation to care, housing and employment case management, and family reunification support, all through a lens that recognizes and honors the unique experiences of 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals.
We believe recovery should be celebrated. That’s why we host drug, alcohol, and gambling-free events that bring our community together in joy, solidarity, and pride.
What makes our services truly different? They’re delivered by members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and our allies—people who understand, who care deeply, and who are committed to showing up with authenticity and compassion.
